Learn About Our Safety Program and What to do if You Are Injured
Safety First
Our safety program (also called an Injury and Illness Prevention Program or IIPP) is designed to accomplish a number of important things:
- Prevent injuries from happening in the first place by training on topics related to job site safety.
- To have a clear plan of action when an injury does happen.
- To make sure our employees feel safe reporting a hazard, or refusing to work in a situation that they feel is unsafe.
- To make sure employees know who the safety officer is and how to contact them.
- To make sure employees know that they can report unsafe conditions anonymously directly to OSHA.
- To make sure employees understand how Workers Compensation Insurance works, and how to see a doctor quickly if injured on the job.
At the end of this page you will download and acknowledge receipt of three introductory safety trainings.
What if I’m Injured on the Job?
If you are injured on the job, you are covered by our Worker’s Compensation insurance, but be aware that you must use their network of doctors. If you use your own medical network, our insurance will not pay for it.
